Who you’re with, Where you’re at, What you’re doing?

29 Jun

At the end of a weekend at Gran & Granddaddy’s house, we decided to play a game of Who you’re with, Where you’re at, and What you’re doing. This is a game that Gran taught us to play that she knew when she was a teenager. For those of you who are not familiar with the game, you write down names, places, and events on separate pieces of paper, then cut them out and put them into categorized bowls. Then each person grabs a person (Who), place (Where) and event (What) and reads them out. It is a hysterically funny game, is always random, and is likely to cure writer’s block. 🙂 Here are just a few examples of the combinations I got today:

(Who) The Lone Ranger (Where) at the train station (What) skateboarding into a trash can

(Who) Liz Elestir (Where) in Gascony, France (What) avoiding the apocalypse

(Who) Aunt Becky (Where) in 1607 (What) running on a treadmill

(Who) Daddy (Where) on a cruise ship (What) sneaking candy

(Who) Orlando Bloom (Where) in the kitchen (What) singing in the shower

(Who) Bofur (Where) in an avalanche (What) slaying dragons

So, who are you with? Where are you at? What are you doing? If you decide to play this game, you should totally post some of your funny phrases in the comments! 🙂
